I’m a voice and singing coach based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I’m also a performer - working as an actor, theatre maker, and singer songwriter. My journey began with Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School over 30 years ago, and I’ve since worked as a professional performer across theatre, TV, film, voice-over, and music as a singer-songwriter.

I specialise in voice teaching and performance coaching, with training in France, England, and New Zealand. I’ve been teaching for over 20 years and have a passion for helping people connect with their authentic sound in a holistic, physical way that builds presence, ease, confidence, expression, and much more. My teaching is grounded by a lifetime of performance, coupled with extensive formal training.

My voice work draws deeply from the Roy Hart lineage, which explores the full spectrum of human sound and integrates the physical body into vocal expression. As one of few Roy Hart–trained voice teachers in New Zealand, I bring this embodied approach to my teaching, alongside skills drawn from other leading voice practitioners including Kristin Linklater, Patsy Rodenburg, Cicely Berry, Seth Riggs, and Jo Estill.
